I did two tours with those guys (Clock days) and I was amazed at how all three guitars were arranged. Jamming aside, their music was WELL CONSTRUCTED. To my ears, they were perfect...and NO ONE was doing what they were doing. I doubt if I missed seeing them one time. That was the only thing I looked forward to on show days!
We did two tours with the Beach Boys and those were some pretty big crowds...15,000 maybe. Don't think I'd played before anything bigger in those days.
shaw: I wonder if Zap is around.I found a guitar someone was throwing out and it has Zapp on the headstock. Turns out its one of those Law Suit era Les Pauls. I'm putting it back together it was only the body & neck, with no hardware but I got all the parts now.
