Original Release 1994 1. Down South Jukin' 2. Heartbreak Hotel 3. Devil in the Bottle 4. Things Goin' On 5. Saturday Night Special 6. Sweet Home Alabama 7. I Ain't the One 8. Am I Losin' 9. All I Have Is a Song 10.Poison Whiskey 11.Good Luck, Bad Luck 12.The Last Rebel 13.Hillbilly Blues I was so against the 'unplugged' thing, I'd lost interest by that time. I enjoyed doing the acoustic stuff but knew it was a personal indulgence on a high level, especially at the front of the set. Now, if you had Ronnie still in the band...DIFFERENT STORY

Q - I was very surprised to hear Skynyrd do a Elvis tune. Why did Skynyrd choose Heartbreak Hotel on that album? Who's idea was it?
I think it was Johnny's...maybe Gary's. Anyhow it was a good idea. I thought that album, though, was a BAD idea after just coming off of a fairly creative LAST REBEL. I figured why go through these old tunes anymore!?! It sounded good...but I would've preferred another electric album. What WAS a good idea was the little acoustic set we did in that '94 tour. It was so refreshing. And the majority of the fans HATED IT!!

It was usually my task to compile the album credits because I was the only one who could spell & type (65 words per minute, even to this day). By the time we got to the Endangered album, I just got sick & tired of ALL THESE "THANK YOU"s ... I mean, it was way excessive. That's why my thank you list was....short.

Q - Who was responsible for the various arrangements of the "classic" Skynyrd tunes on ES?
Those "arrangements" were pretty much a collective effort. That album was most unnecessary. Yeah, let's record these old tunes again for the umpteenth time. BAD IDEA.
